SeaStreak Ticket Raffle Supports

Two River Theatre Company

(Red Bank, NJ)  SeaStreak America, Inc., provider of fast passenger ferry service to New York City from Highlands, Atlantic Highlands, and South Amboy, has donated a year of commuting (12 monthly passes) to the Two River Theatre Guild for its Grand Opening Benefit Raffle. The Guild will sell four-hundred raffle tickets at $100 each to benefit the annual Fund for artistic and education programming at Two River Theatre, which will open its state-of-the-art performance facility in Red Bank on May 7, 2005. Two winners will be drawn.

Kathryne Singleton, President of the theatre’s new support Guild and a resident of Fair Haven, said, “SeaStreak is providing a valuable gift to the theatre and area commuters will appreciate the chance to win a year’s worth of commuting – valued at over $6,400 – for only $100 per raffle ticket. A maximum of 400 raffle tickets will be sold, giving ticket buyers phenomenally good odds…compared to the state lottery for example.”

The tickets are on sale now through the opening of the new Red Bank theatre, with the winners being drawn on the opening night of You Can’t Take It With You on May 7, 2005. The raffle tickets may be purchased in the lobby of the Algonquin Arts Theatre in Manasquan, where TRTC is currently presenting the Irish drama, The Beauty Queen of Leenane, through February 6; and again March 24 through April 10 with TRTC’s next production, The Syringa Tree. Raffle tickets may also be purchased by downloading the flyer/purchase form from http://www.trtc.org/PDFs/raffleflyer.pdf.

The TRTC Guild was officially launched at a celebration in September 2004 with thirty charter members. In just four months the group has donated in excess of 200 volunteer hours to TRTC, helping to host opening night parties at the theatre, selling subscriptions in the lobby, assisting staff members with mailings, and spreading the word about Two River Theatre.

Guild members are currently being trained to serve as docent tour guides for the new Red Bank theater, and will also serve as hosts, ushers, and backstage assistants during the Grand Opening events in April and May 2005.

Those interested in joining the Two River Theatre Guild may contact Kathryne Singleton at 732-345-1400 or kpsingleton@trtc.org.  Tickets for TRTC productions are also available at 732-345-1400.
