BURTON (MANIAC) was in the Broadway & National

Houseman, Lives
of the Saints (World Premiere) at the Berkshire
Theatre Fest.
and Philadelphia Theatre Co.,
and the Los Angeles premiere
of All in
the Timing at the Geffen
Playhouse. Several seasons with
Pearl Theatre Company include
roles as the twins in The
Venetian Twins, Edgar in King
Lear, Oswald
in Ghosts among others.

The Baltimore Waltz at Circle
Rep, and An Evening with Burton & Russell
which he co-wrote at The Rattlestick
Theatre, Ara Nova and The Fringe.

JEFF
GALFER (BEAT COP) recently
finished a run of Mirbeau’s
Diary
of a Chambermaid, directed
and adapted by Adrian Giurgea,
at Soho Rep’s Walkerspace.
The show was the debut performance
of the new Manhattan theatre
company, Dramahaus. Other recent
credits include the
Devil in Master
and Margarita (also directed/adapted by Giurgea)
and Lysander in A
Midsummer Night’s
Dream; both at the Zeum Theatre
in San Francisco. A newcomer
to New York, Jeff just received
his M.F.A in acting from the
American Conservatory Theatre
in San Francisco. He also holds
a B.S. from the University of
Evansville in theatre and political
theory. On his off time, Jeff
runs his own art business, J.A.G.
Theatre Art, where he deals
in theatre related fine artwork.

DARIO
FO (PLAYWRIGHT) was
born in 1926 in San Giano,
Italy. One of the major
figures of Italian theater,
he was educated at the
Brera Art Academy, and
studied art and architecture.
Along with his wife, Franca
Rame, he founded several
theater companies and collaborated
on plays of a satirical
and political nature. He
achieved international
fame in 1960 with the play,
Archangels
Don’t
Play Pinball, which became
at that time Italy’s
greatest commercial success.
Fo has written over 70
plays, including the widely
performed Mistero
Buffo (1969)
and We
Won’t Pay,
We Won’t Pay (1970).
Accidental
Death of an Anarchist was first performed
in 1970 and was seen by
over one million people
in its first four years.
In 1997, Dario Fo was awarded
the Nobel Prize for Literature.
